The European Climate Initiative (EUKI) has launched its fourth Call for Project Ideas. The call is open to innovative ideas for cross-border climate action in Europe and has been held on a regular basis since 2017.

Through this call, financing is available for climate projects by actors from EU Member States. For the first time, however, and in specific cases, parties from EU candidate countries are also eligible for funding as implementing partners. Implementers from Central, Eastern, South-Eastern and Southern Europe are especially encouraged to submit their project ideas. Such ideas can be either national, regional or local and can focus on capacity development; creation of networks; implementing policies and measures, developing strategies and conducting feasibility studies; and dialogue formats, dissemination projects and education

Proposal submission is open until 18 February 2020. Feedback on the proposals is expected at the beginning of June 2020. Visit this page for more information.
