The latest ‪LIFE‬ Environment Focus publication ‘LIFE and Climate change mitigation’ provides an overview of EU climate policy, and also includes best practice examples from over 200 projects across the EU.

The project examples cover a range of topics including strategies and plans at local, regional and national level; energy; transport; agriculture and forestry; the role of peatlands and wetlands as carbon sinks; as well as projects involving enterprises.

The publication is aimed at policy makers, practitioners and anyone with an interest in the work the EU is doing to fight climate change. Download it from the European Commission website.
