Public consultation launched on the EU’s future initiative on No Net Loss of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services

One of the 20 actions included in the EU strategy for Biodiversity to 2020 is “to ensure no net loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services” and part of this action requires the European Commission “to carry out further work with a view to proposing by 2015 an initiative to ensure there is no net loss of ecosystems and their services.”

The European Commission has therefore launched a public consultation  in order to gather views about the future initiative to be proposed by the Commission. The questionnaire will be live until 17 October 2014.
