Dunja hopes to gain experience and learn about best practices in natural resources management, including the management of Natura 2000 sites. She is currently working on a project called 'Natura 2000 Management Framework Development in Croatia'. She is also interested to learn more about climate change adaptation and mitigation measures in protected areas, especially regarding conservation measures for Natura 2000 target species and habitats. Dunja has experience in Appropriate Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment, including Strategic Impact Assessment for plans, programmes and strategies, which provides the strategic overview that enables natural site managers to develop plans and programmes that will facilitate the implementation of nature protection requirements.
