European representation in the ILCN

The European Private Land Conservation Network (ELCN) is deepening its ties on a global scale by strengthening its cooperation with the International Land Conservation Network (ILCN). Eurosite’s Project Officer for the new project on private land conservation LIFE ENPLC, Carolina Halevy, and Eurosite President Tilmann Disselhoff have been taking on the role as regional contacts for the ILCN regional representatives’ programme.

The work done under the regional representatives’ programme will be closely linked to the implementation of the LIFE ENPLC project and provides the opportunity for project partners and network members to exchange knowledge, resources and best practices on a global scale. The European perspective in the ILCN will additionally be strengthened by Angelo Salsi, Head of the LIFE Programme at the European Commission’s Executive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME) who joins Anton Gazenbeek, Jofre Rodrigo and Tilmann Disselhoff in the ILCN Steering Committee.
