Eurosite welcomes its first Individual members

At Eurosite’s 2014 Annual Meeting in Haarlem, the members voted in favour of allowing individuals to join the Eurosite network.

Individual members will receive the same benefits that our Organisation and Associate members receive, including our monthly member eNewsletter, promotion of their expertise and work on our website and through our communication channels, a 20% discount for all Eurosite workshops, access to a wealth of knowledge and experience within the network, and opportunities to participate in Eurosite’s activities across Europe and at EC level.

We have already started to receive applications and are pleased to announce that Eurosite’s founder, Nicole Nowicki, will be our very first Individual member. Nicole was involved in the creation of the European Natural Sites Twinning Programme in 1987, which linked 33 sites across Europe. This led to the creation of Eurosite in 1989 and Nicole worked for Eurosite until her retirement in 2013. We are therefore glad to welcome Nicole back into the network. Her years of experience and knowledge of nature conservation will be an invaluable resource for our members.

To mark this new stage in Eurosite’s 25 years of networking, Eurosite is offering a special introductory rate. Individuals who join the Eurosite network in 2014, will pay €50 for their 2015 membership and will get the remaining months of 2014 free.

To take advantage of this offer, please complete the online Individual member application form. You will then receive a confirmation of your membership from the Eurosite Secretariat and will be able to begin enjoying the many benefits that come with being a part of Eurosite.
