Farmer’s Pride: stakeholder survey
Funded by the EU, Farmer’s Pride is building a collaborative network for in situ (on-site) conservation of Europe’s wild and cultivated plant diversity for food, nutrition and economic security.
As part of the consortium, Eurosite invites you to participate in a short stakeholder survey, available in four languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish).
To help establish this new network of conservation sites and stakeholders, we are reaching out to identify individuals and organisations involved or with an interest in the conservation of wild and cultivated plant genetic resources (crop wild relatives and traditional local varieties, or landraces) whether in farms, gardens, allotment sites, protected and non-protected areas.
The survey is relevant to all stakeholders, including agro-NGOs, civil society organisations, farmers and gardeners, nature conservation NGOs, plant breeding/seed companies, policy-makers, protected area managers, research institutes, seed/gene banks, and any related networks or other relevant organisations.
We would be grateful if you could also pass this announcement on to your contacts and networks to ensure we are as inclusive as possible.
Thank you in advance – your contribution is important to help conserve plant genetic resources for the future.
