Take part in ‘Celebrate Islands 2015’ and raise awareness of island sustainable development issues

The second edition of Celebrate Islands, an initiative led by Eurosite member Conservatoire du littoral, will take place on 18-24 May 2015. This year the theme is ‘Sustainable Development of small islands’, and the week aims to raise awareness of the ecological importance of islands and their specific sustainable management issues.

Conservatoire du littoral is calling for projects and initiatives working on island sustainable management issues to take part in Celebrate Islands week by organising an awareness-raising event. Your event can be a conference, exhibition, workshop, film festival, or other nature or science related activity.

By taking part in Celebrate Islands week, your initiative will be promoted via a dedicated, trilingual (English, French, Spanish) website. Conservatoire du littoral can also provide educational toolkits to use during your event.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact Conservatoire du littoral at: international@conservatoire-du-littoral.fr
