Legal Tools for Private Land Conservation Workshop
Finland, 14-15 June 2018
The workshop is dedicated to the topic of legal tools. It will look at private land conservation from a more technical perspective and investigate the question of how private land conservation can be implemented under existing EU and national legislation and how new instruments could be legally codified in the future.
The aim is to critically investigate the potential and the risks of such new legal tools. While doing so, it will focus on conservation, property, tax and charitable law. By bringing together leading experts on these issues and private land conservation practitioners, it will allow to identify where opportunities and obstacles for the reform of relevant legislation lie.
