Wetland Restoration in Practice
The main aim of this workshop was to discuss practical ways to restore wetlands of European importance, to contribute to improving site restoration effectiveness by supporting the transfer of knowledge and innovation between wetland practitioners across Europe.
Drawing upon the experience and knowledge of participants, the workshop enabled comparison and benchmarking of approaches on wetland restoration, through the presentation of case studies from different countries around Europe (Belgium, France, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom). In addition, it did encourage contacts between practitioners involved in wetland restoration programmes.
Photos of the workshop, the programme and the report (French) are available at the bottom of this page. A summary in English is under preparation.
