We are pleased to announce the workshop “Embracing Estuaries – Management of Natura 2000 sites in Estuaries and Sea Ports” as part of the Biogeographical Process of the Atlantic Region, on 15 and 16 September 2016.

Professionals involved with or interested in any topic related to estuary management are invited to contribute an oral presentation or a poster. Any organisation with ideas, problems and/or solutions regarding estuary management is welcome to submit an abstract.

The workshop is organised in cooperation with the EU Commission and the Hamburg Ministry of Environment and Energy. It is supported by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation and funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. Elbe Habitat Foundation organises this workshop and Eurosite supports it as part of their Natura 2000 Biogeographical Process involvement.
