Oppla is a new virtual hub where the latest thinking on nature-based solutions is brought together from across Europe. It is currently in development (with a launch planned in September 2016), but their enquiry service ‘Ask Oppla‘ can already be tested. Aks Oppla aims to help answer questions about ecosystem services and natural capital by drawing upon the knowledge of the Oppla community. It’s primarily designed to assist people who are new to the concepts of ecosystem services and natural capital.

More than 60 universities, research institutes, agencies and enterprises are currently developing the Oppla prototype as part of a joint activity between the OPERAs and OpenNESS projects, funded by the European Commission FP7 Programme.
